Creative Coconuts: Building skills for Kindergarten

Creativity is exploding in the Creative Coconuts Classroom. Children learn the basic skills necessary to attend kindergarten the following year. A daily schedule is followed but flexibility allows for extra fun outdoors at the baseball field on a warm sunny day. Children will learn responsibility for personal belongings and continue to learn self help skills. Children will learn to recognize and write their names and sometimes the names of their classmates. There is never a bare wall in this classroom…the children work very hard to create bright colorful projects to decorate all wall space. Morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, milk and juice are all included in the program.

Physical Skills
Each child will exercise fine and gross motor skills throughout the day. Climbing outside on our large playground structure is a sure way to help the children use up some of the energy they have built up inside.
Staying Healthy and Fit
Our children are motivated to stay active and get plenty of physical exercise while playing with eachother in our safe playground.
