Our Doodle Bugs room is wide open for children to move around and explore. We offer children plenty of space to crawl around and even encourage them to take more and more steps everyday. Our teachers introduce our youngest toddlers to basic sign language to aid in communication skills…they will even teach you too! Singing, dancing and reading stories is part of our daily routine. Morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack is provided to each child. Each child is also provided with a house brand formula or milk and juice. Our young toddlers are provided with a small highchair or toddler size chair and table to sit and practice self feeding.
Toddlers are naturally curious and want to explore. Our classrooms are designed to support safe exploration so your child has room to discover safely while developing their sense of balance and motor skills. Our teachers introduce our youngest toddlers to basic sign language to aid in communication skills.
Our Doodle Bugs Classroom is staffed with caring teachers who respond to your child's emotional and intellectual needs. This program offers children a variety of fun and stimulating activities such as counting, exploring colors and singing and dancing to establish a safe, and fulfilling bond between the child, teacher and fellow classmates.
A foundation for reading and cognitive skills begins as early as a child's first year. Introducing our toddlers to books and language cultivates early literacy development. Our skilled staff assesses your toddlers focus on first words and phrases, familiar items and provide activities designed to increase those skills.
Learning more about themselves and their abilities, toddlers become aware of their social surroundings. Our Doodle Bugs classroom implements small group activities so they gain an awareness of others and a sense of group identity. Daily group activities include songs, games, stories, and more. Waving goodbye and taking turns stacking blocks are simple stepping stones for developing positive sharing and socialization.
